Bandar Seri Begawan - Segau-Segau darters from Limbang bounced back from their Miri Open defeat by thrashing Brunei Darussalam's Waqi USC Top One 4-1 in the Limbang Double Open Darts Championship final over the weekend.

The two sides met in the final of One Cue Sport Centre Darts Open Double Championship in Miri eight days ago, which was won by the Brunei darters with a count of 4-0.

The host darters Ronald and Qawi (Segau-Segau) bagged the champion's prize money of RM1,200 and trophy putting the partnership of Pg Mohamed Pg Hj Matarsad and Mohd Raffie Rusli of Waqi USC Top One to second place winning RM500 and trophy.

Meanwhile, team All 4 One Bronze and All 4 One Gold, both from Labuan, who lost in the semi-finals against Segau-Segau and Waqi USC Top One respectively, received RM200 and trophy each for finishing third and fourth place respectively.

Team D'Rimba 2 darters and SSD9 from Brunei and All 4 One Silver (Labuan) and Black Bull Holo (Limbang) completed the top eight places and won RM50 and trophy each.

Present to hand over the prizes to the winners was the championship's chairman, Abd Latip Hj Ismail.

A total of 28 dart teams from Limbang, Labuan and Brunei Darussalam took part in the May 28-29 competition.

Brunei Darussalam were represented by Waqi USC Top One, Waqi USC Top Tui, SSD, D'Rimba and Temburong Darters.
